Organic in Hampton Roads?
Anyone know some good places to get wholesale organic foods? I've seen a few comments about the VA Beach Farmer's Market and a few roadside stands. Any wholesale places?

There is a fresh market up in the Hilltop area of Virginia Beach. I am not sure what the name is but it is a nice store and sells a lot of organic food.

My wife uses the Organic Food Depot. You can sign up online www.organicfooddepot.com . Bloom (fancy Food Lion) also has a pretty good selection of organic stuff.

The Heritage Store ( on Laskin near the oceanfront ) has a good selection of organic fruit and produce, but the prices are not even close to wholesale. Be prepared to pay top dollar if you shop there, but you will get good quality in return.

I love the Organic Food Depot. You can buy in bulk, or "split" cases with others so you get the wholesale price but not a year's supply - kwim? They also carry local produce.
