We're not either! I prefer a floor fan running at nite vice a/c. It's bad enough that our office is so darn cold that I have to wear an overshirt so I don't freeze.

If you enjoy walking on the beach in the winter or the boardwalk you will still want to bring a few winter coats. Being on the water brings moister air which can feel colder. Though the winters are mild you will also be within 2 1/2 hours of Historical Alexandria, VA and Washington DC so if you plan on doing any cultural trips in these areas you will still want a warm coat and mittens to keep you toasty!
