Has anyone been experiencing a consistent service interruption on a daily basis?

I live in the Chimney Hill area of VB and everyday for the past two weeks since I have been monitoring it, I have had an internet service break mid day. It is consistently around the same time; anywhere from 1pm to 4pm, from 30 minutes to 3 hours. It will just come back online after a while with no other interruptions until the next day around the same time. It does not drop offline any other time of the day.

Cox will not dispatch a technician until there are multiple calls reporting the failure.
It also may have something to do with the temperature at mid day, or they probably have a bad switch somewhere. I just don't know and Cox isn't much help either.

Just trying to get to the bottom of this.
Thanks.

I have FIOS...heard alot of complaints about Cox. Our company even changed to FIOS because our networks were going down alot and Gov. agencies can't afford to let that happen.

Could it be your Modem?? Have Cox here in NFK, working OK. Goes in/out at times but usually I just unplug/replug, reboot. Seems to be OK after.

mmmm......you don't work for Cox tech services do you??

Sorry, but you put yourself out there. That's exactly what they preach.

No, its not my modem, it's tip top. Besides, modems don't cut off at a specific time of day everyday then just miraculously start working again. I'm aware of the reset procedure. This is just not the case.

They have a problem on their end somewhere.
