Have you been to Norfolk lately? It's no worse than Va. Beach. All cities have their bad areas. I really wish people would get off this tired old line about Norfolk having crime as though other cities dont. I go downtown every weekend and I have never felt unsafe. They have really done well revitalizing that whole area.

Nice pic though! Bout time they got rid of that ranscid hotel on the corner from the Scope. Now if they relocate the Greyhound Bus Depot so the intransients find somewhere else to migrate, it'll be much nicer. Do they plan to do that and if so, what will be built there?

Yes they do plan to do that, but what will be built is up in the air. There have been discussions about builidng the new permanent home of the central library on that lot.
