Talking Employment in Hampton Roads?

I am moving to Suffolk in two weeks. My partner needs to find a job. She just finished college and has degree in Busniess Management. She has experience in customer service and call centers. Anyone know of places hiring? Also any ideas about the suffolk area? What to do etc....

HSBC (the credit card) is somewhere very close - Western Branch. She should have no trouble finding a job in that field. Lots of call center's around. Go to

The best call center to work in this area is American Funds, at capgroup.com you can apply. By far the best one

HSBC in our area has had several layoffs, so I would be inclined to stay away from them. Chesapeake has many call centers and typically hire year-round. The unfortunate part, many of them do not pay well.

Someone mentioned American Funds (Capital Group) and they are a good company to work for and typically offer career advancement.

USAA and Geico also have call centers in the area.

The 2 local employment sites I use for hiring are 757JobsNow.com and Careerconnection.com.

It should be really easy for your partner to find a good job
