Exploring options to move to the Larchmont area of Norfolk but I am concerned about the safety of the area. Can anyone shed light on whether or not this would be a safe place to raise a family? Also, what are the school systems like? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like Ghent to me. For Norfolk, I'd say that little area is safe.
There is a lot of families who live here and young professionals. Where Colley turns into Jamestown Crescent seems pretty nice. Big Houses up there. Not sure about the schools, we have Larchmont Elementary..

It's a very nice family area...not too much crime. Can't really tell you anything about the schools though....
