Hi,

My husband and I with our two cocker spaniels are moving to Virginia Beach area because of my new job. I know the area as a vacation spot but need some advice as to living there permanently.
Heard to be watchful of "bad" areas there so I have two questions:
1- Is the Lynnwood bay area a good place to look for a home and what specific locations, developments are nice. We have a sailboat and would love to get as close to the water as finances dictate.

2- Know of any corporate rentals that accept pets since I may be starting in two weeks, want to bring them along so we can easily show and sell our home in pennsylvania.

Thanks!

Default Do you mean Lynnhaven River?

What price range are you looking for?

Default Dog Friendly Apartments

Hi Jupiter321, I am moving to Virginia Beach in August and recently looked at the following pet friendly apartments:

The Crossings at Red Mill
Marina Shores Apartments
Maple Bay Townhomes

Of these, The Crossings at Red Mill was my favorite. There was even a grassy fenced dog run. There were garages, but they were not attached to the unit.

Marina Shores is closest of the three to Chesapeake Bay, I believe.

As far as Lynnwood Bay, I wish I had an answer for you. I'm just not familiar enough with any of the neighborhoods (yet). Hope this helps.

If you have any questions about the above complexes, you need only ask. I am happy to offer an opinion any of them while they are still fresh in my mind.

If you need a short term hotel with pets, Red Roof Inn on Greenwich Rd, off Newtown is pet friendly. When we travel to MASS., we stay in one with a furry kid.
