I currently live in newport news with plans to move to hampton for 2 yrs to go to thomas nelson community college. i was told by my dad that i should get an apartment/townhouse (whichever comes first) that includes utilities and possible full furnishing (full furnishing isn't that important to me) and also he says i should look for one that requires no lease like a pay as you go type thing. i tried looking on craiglist but i couldn't find anything to meet those requirements. i have also searched google and came up with nothing. can anybody point me in the direction of any places that meets the requirements if available. i wish it to be a 2 bedroom 1.5-2 bathroom.

I'd call the realtors' directly. There are many who manage complexes and rental properties. William E. Wood is one of them. Also there are apartments near the campus. Try rent.com
