Default Good onshore fishing spots?

Hello everyone,

Well, my husband and I are looking for good shore fishing spots in or around Hampton/Newport News. If anyone has any suggestions please let us know. Any and all information is greatly appreciated.

Chesapeake Bay, near the HRBT and the islands for saltwater fishing. You can also get out on a head boat and see some of the spots they take you to.

Then there's beach fishing below the lesner bridge or the two fishing piers. One in ocean view that Judy Boone has and the Lynnhaven Fishing Pier on shore drive. I hear Sandbridge has some good beach & bay fishing as well.
