Looking at that map I can tell you the envirmental concerns wil prevent construction due to the bald eagle nest.

Happy to hear for now that section spared from the Southeastern Parkway project...what a waste - Dam Neck is already 55mph all the way down, only Elbow would be cut out. Not to mention destruction of one of the few green spaces left in our area save for Pungo and south.

That land likely has dirt trails back there as it appears it was likely logged at some point...the give away is the same-age pine.
