Default School Shopping

We just moved to the area from Michigan a few weeks ago. My husband works in the Hampton Road area but wouldn't notice stores . We Live in North Carolina in Camden close to Elizabeth City. I have 4 kids and 3 will be going back to school in a few weeks. In Elizabeth City there really isn't much but a Walmart. I'm used to K-Mart and Target. Where in the Hamton Road area would one be the closes to come and shop in and would have more retail stores to go to.

There's a target on Military Hwy as well as Walmart and military circle mall. JC Penney at the mall has great deals on clothing for all ages and last weekend, there was no tax charged for school clothing.

There's also MacArthur Mall and Patrick Henry Mall. There is a new shopping complex off of Jefferson Ave that has a Khol's and some other stores. Here in Williamsburg we have a new shopping complex off 199 near Water Country that has a JC Penny, Khol's, and Target. Plus, in Williamsburg we have the outlet mall. Not all stores are outlet stores, but many of them are. There is a Target on almost every corner as well as a Wal-Mart.
Good luck!

If you travel 168 up to Chesapeake there is a lot of shopping to be had as well. There is a new shopping center (Edinburgh I think) that has a Target. Up a few more miles is the Greenbrier area that has a mall. Best of luck.

I'm pretty sure those stores are at Prime Outlets, not Williamsburg Outlet mall

Took my niece to Greenbrier mall and got her some cool clothes. Her school is run by the Taliban or Pat Roberson because they got to wear clothes stright out of the 40's. Stupid, over-protective retards. They buy into any crap the television feeds them. "Tonight on Channel 6 news, could pedophiles be trying to steal your kids using a new internet programms called FTP? You deside tonight in a special segmet we call 'Scaring the shi* out of parents for ratings and profit.'"

Ranting aside, they had clothes she could wear to school and I was able to talk her into something other than that over priced crap with Hannah-whoevers face on it. They have Limited-Too, which is on the top of all the little girls list she knows. Now I'm the cool uncle. XD Like I wasn't before. I'm a rockstar, baby. I got a feeling she'll be bringing friends next time she visits and I'll be stuck shopping all week long.

Anyway, check out Greenbrier mall and down on Military Circle. I would say goto Mac Arthur, but it's hard as heck to get in and out of there and it gives me anxiety just thinking about it.

We locals still call it the outlet mall and go from one to the other. They're just down the road from each other, so prime or outlet, they're both in williamsburg. But you are correct to call out the distinct name!
