The neighborhood is called Pembroke Manor. I thought about moving there at one time but alas at the time there wasn't anything I was interested in purchasing. It really varies back there even from house to house. There are no HOA there and it seems there can be nice houses beside some houses that are not kept as well. Some streets seem better than others. As far as safety, I can't say first hand but it would seem to pretty safe there. Good luck!

Yea, it's a pretty decent area. Older neighborhood, older people.

I've sold in that neighborhood before and no one had anything negative to say about it. Like Erma said, it's older, established, quite - yet centrally located.
Walking distance to Town Square shopping/dining.

I think it is a nice neighborhood that is districted for some pretty good schools. And as Town Center grows, will probably appreciate pretty well. Centrally located. I have a listing there right now (under contract).

I've got several friends who live there. As mentioned by all, there's almost nothing negative about it. I saw almost because everyplace has its flaws. Overall, it's a nice area that I would feel comfortable walking/jogging at night in.

If I had the money and found a house I liked there I would definitely buy it. As Town Center grows so will your equity. Like they say, location, location, location.

Exactly, plus you're not far from little creek amphib base, shore drive beach area and Haygood, which commercially is picking up as well. Pembroke Cinema Cafe and 5 brothers burgers
