I sure do, Im currently taking donations to help fund my move to anywhere else *places hand out nicely*
But until then, Im stuck saving the meager amount of money I make over my rent until I can afford to myself, and thats probably going to take another couple years.

Don't let people who have a problem bum you out. HR isn't perfect, but it has a nice mix of a lot of things. Weak, unhappy people always try to drag others down to their level. Times are difficult everywhere. Stop whining and do something to better yourself!

Hampton Roads is no way similar to Northern Virginia. At least Northern Virginia is progressive especially in Arlington and Alexandria. I would easily relocate to that area if I ever get the opportunity. At least you have options to avoid the traffic such as Mass Transit. Hampton Roads Virginia is still 15 years behind the times. People are too darn slow out here. I would take the rat race anyday over slowness.

Its amazing the fortitude a person develops when confronted with the anonymous nature of the internet. They even go so far as to personally insult people they do not know from their holier then though throne. Its been my experience that people like that are amongst the weakest you can find.
By the way, stop trying to blame the economy for Hampton Roads being a cess pool. The fact that they havent bothered to even attempt to attract a corporate base, and have remained a tourist trap dependent on the military and government for stability for decades is the reason for its state, and the reason its losing a whole generation of youth to areas with more on the ball.

I think thats the most "anti-intellectual" thing I have ever read. Most Virginians are refined and cultured, and have a love of history and all things Southern.
