Does anyone know of a bakery that makes vegan cakes?

Good question. While I'm not a vegan(I'm representing on the vegetarian side of things), I'd like to know this too. I know the Ghent Yorgo's has vegan treats/pastries and obviously there's Heritage down at the Oceanfront on Laskin, which is vegan-friendly for the most part with their deli/baked goods.

Default vegan bakery...

Hi there. I am Alicia, the vegan baker at Yorgo's in Ghent. We can do just about anything, including sheet cakes, cheesecakes, fancy individual desserts and more. You can contact us at veganeats@hotmail.com with your specific needs and we will see what we can do for you!

If you were so in tune with nature as your tagline suggests, you might have a different opinion of vegans and their choice not to eat dairy and eggs. If you knew the horror and inexplicably deplorable conditions that animals live in and their daily struggle they endure to deliver those products to your local supermarket, you might want to eat a vegan cake too.

Although you may want to eat it just because it's delicious!
