Sorry to revive a year old thread but I am also looking for a good place to get some tinting done. Can anyone else share their experiences?

Atlantic Shoreline on First Colonial does a excellent job-they know how dark you can go without attracting legal attention too.
422-6124 is their number.

I'd second Atlantic Shoreline on First Colonial in Va Beach. I went to them on a recommendation from my car dealer and they worked with me to get just the right percentage configuration I wanted without it screaming "Pull Me Over!". Their work is excellent and I am VERY pleased with it. I'm going to take my SUV down to get it tinted soon. I went all the way down there from Yorktown to get the work done so that should tell you something.

I've been considering TNT for awhile, off Birdneck Rd. in VB. I think they charge about $150 (at least for a car), but also can do installment plans as well.

Dunno about reviews though, but I believe they are BBB recommended, which of course could still mean anything.

Thanks for the suggestions. I went to Atlantic Shoreline yesterday and everything looks great, just waiting for some of the bubble to disappear. Great job and lifetime warranty!

I just recently had the windows tinted on one of my cars at TNT. (I kept it legal, I really just wanted it to keep the car a little cooler and to protect the interior as hot as the summers are here, but it does look very nice too.) They appear to be a cheaper place because the store looked out-dated and they had a sign up guaranteeing lowest prices. But I was really pleasantly surprised and it was much more professional than I expected. The customer service was great, they took the time to walk me through all the tinting options. They also explained the legal limits. After finishing the job, I can say that it looks great and they also offer a lifetime warranty for any problems, just save the receipt. Their price for my 4-door car was $159, but they charged an extra $20 for materials. Their website is informative and it details about the business and their prices depending on the vehicle. The website is www.tnttinting.net and it's very hard to find because it doesn't come up in google or any search engine.

I'm thinking about taking my newer car to Atlantic Shoreline. TNT did a great job, but they don't appear to offer the premium 3M window film like Atlantic does. I'll try to report back about my experience with them after I go. But based on reviews here, it sounds like they do a great job too.

Shademasters in Hampton carries Huper Optik films if you are looking for top of the line ceramics. Expect it to run a bit over 300 bucks though.

I don't believe so. Last time I checked, it was 35%, but don't hold me to that.

It is cool to hear Atlantic Shoreline is still there in VB. I had my car tinted 15-20 years ago at Atantic Shoreline, and I was going to recommend them. Excellent film and they do a great job. Cool to know they are still around!
