Where are these places which you speak of??? I remember I would ask that in my single days and the only place people would say is "church". Other than that I really never found places to meet women, at least not a place that didn't have 5 times as many guys.

I would suppose it depends on what type of women you want to meet and what age group you are in. There are many women who love the beach, love to work out and really don't like bars to meet anyone. Going out with friends when they do go out is all they want to do. Why have some guy hanging around when it's the girls nite out?

I don't know about the single scene here, since I am a married mom w/ 4 kids. I have to say that I met my hubby in a bar over 9 years ago, so sometimes that works out! )

There are plenty of girls who attend college in the area, so surely they're out there.
