Good driving roads in VA...
Does anyone know of any good driving roads, preferably back roads in the mountains or plains, with good twisties, low to no traffic, etc?
Also any advice on where some great scenery and photo spots are would be great too.
Thanks in advance!

take rt 5 out of wmburg to richmond it is a pretty drive, and has plenty of 1700 era plantations to visit. then cross the james river at richmond or hopewell and drive rt 10 east back to surry and ride the free car ferry over to wmburg.
this is a great one day trip close to the tidewater
