Can anyone recommend a good ob/gyn in the North Suffolk area? (Chesapeake: to live)

Hello. I am looking for a good ob/gyn in the Northern Suffolk area. I had my daughter at VA Beach General-we used to live at the beach-but now I need someone closer. I have a few ideas, but wanted to ask here as well. My doctor in VA Beach could not recommend someone for sure.

This is what I tell everyone looking for a good ob/gyn: call the local hospital. Ask for the labor and delivery floor and ask several nurses who they would recommend. They know best because they work day in and day out with all of them. When you start hearing the same name over and over again, there's your pick .

Go to the Sentara Healthplex on Volvo Parkway in Chesapeake. They have a great ob/gyn department.

I second Dr Lepore. He takes his time and you NEVER feel rushed. I will warn you - sometimes it takes a while to make that 1st appt. After that, they are fine.

My wife goes to see Dr. Perwaiz, he's in Churchland. He did her hysterectomy, great guy.
