The Room Store is where I got my Living Room Set. They were very professional and delivered when they said they were going to. AND my sofa was made in the USA, probably rare now, huh?

Value City - got an awesome and cheap glass diningroom table for $200.

HAYNES- I'd advise you to stay away from. I've bought furniture from there twice, and both times something was damaged. The second time they called to tell me they didn't have my bedroom set in stock for the day they were supposed to deliver it. Save yourself the hassle.

Decorum- If you like modern/european type furniture- never bought anything from there as it's expensive, but fun to look at.

Ethan Allen- More traditional furniture, but seems better quality, but you pay the higher price for it.

Willis Wayside- Again very nice solid good quality furniture, if you can afford it.

Good luck!

OMG Haynes is going out of business??? I better get over there right now!!! Hahaha

I got my living room furniture from Value City in Chesapeake. I was actually really impressed with one of the sales ladies, something I never thought I'd say! The prices were really cheap, and the exact same stuff was being sold for much more next door at Grand Furniture. Freight Liquidators on Military had some good prices too, but their stuff seemed cheaply made. The Dump doesn't impress me with their prices (and their ads are annoying too!!). EQ at MacArthur Mall is going out of business but they have really cool contemporary stuff. Prices are ok. Good luck hunting around!!!

The dump is all Haynes seconds....I'd never buy anything there. Value City Furniture is your best bet. They also have a sale room where you don't have to buy furniture in sets. Our son loves the futon/queen bed we put in his room. Good price, good value. We were also able to pick up a nice arm chair for our sitting room that was very reasonable and well built.

The Dump on Military Highway has some really neat o stuff! They get it normal stuff plus odd pieces that you don't see in regular stores. That place is huge too! Let us know what you pick.
