Need traffic attorney in Eastville, VA (Northampton county) (lawyers, prices)

Hello everyone,

Last month when we were driving through VA (on our way back to NC from Ocean city), despite trying to be careful, my husband got a reckless driving ticket in Eastville, VA (80/55). Obviously, we were not being careful enough. Anyways, now he is facing a class I misdemeanor and its his first violation ever. We did get our speedometer calibrated, which is off by 2 mph. I have spoken to a few attorneys who are willing to go to Northampton County court in Eastville, VA and represent us. But I can’t figure out whom to pick from just talking to them. So, I decided to turn to you guys for recommendations – in case you know a good attorney yourselves/through friends and family. Also, I have spoken to these attorneys and would appreciate any comments you have regarding these guys: Anthony Montagna, Dan Miller, Monte Kuligowski, Paul G Watson IV (757-678-0044)and John Wescoat (678-5848). The prices range from $250-850. I would appreciate any help I can get in finding a good attorney (even someone different from above-mentioned ones) and getting us out of the mess we got ourselves into.

we have hired kuligowski - only because he was willing to talk to me more than other lawyers did on the phone. and right after hiring him, our court date changed. His office claims that it was due to the police officer but i am not able to verify the story (I am skeptical 'cos when i tried to confirm his availability for our original court date they said they can always change the date and i told them not to do so. but as soon as i paid them, nxt day it was changed). I can inform you abt the outcome once we have our court date later his month. Send me a personal message to remind me - i am trying hard not to put down our personal details here for everyone to see.

i know someone else hired jack wescott in eastville and they had court date and had improper driving as the outcome. hope this helps and good luck.
