We were up at the outlets today, but only to shop for my daughter. She's a teenager and has a hard time finding clothes she likes. I'll shop anywhere if it has a great sale/clearance! We hit the jockey store for undies (they offer a 10 percent military discount plus the boxed sets of undies were half off), and the Guess store for jeans (They had a rack of great jeans in her style and size for 19.99). I found a pretzle at Auntie Annes that was just my size and price.

We were about to eat at the Library Tavern restaurant this past weekend, which I think is the one you mentioned above. We ended up walking out though. It wasn't what I thought it was going to be and it was hot, hot, hot in there. (We hadn't ordered anything yet).

We ended up going down to The Bakers Crust which is just past New Town on Monticello near 199. It's sort of like Panera Bread co. but it's sit down and get your order taken. And the food is MUCH better. The Williamsburg location is a bit fancier than any of the others I've seen, but the prices are the same. Tequila Rose is our favorite Mex place in Williamsburg. Particularly the one out on 60 past the Pottery. I keep meaning to try The Old Chickahominy House on Jamestown road but since they're only open for breakfast and lunch I always end up missing it. It's supposed to have typical Virginia fare such as brunswick stew, ham biscuits, etc. so you might be interested in giving it a try.

Great schools your kids are in. Glad to know that the district is working with you. Where we live now, if you are considered homeless your kids are turned over to the Dept of Child Services. It is expensive to live in Williamsburg but it's worth it. There are so many wonderful things to do there, your kids will be spoiled with the cheap and sometimes free entertainment they have at their disposal! Good luck and hang in there!
