After being able to have my windows and doors open last weekend I had all but given up on snow, but then............

I'm looking forward to it, but I really hope it is NOT the 12 - 16 inches they say it might be.

I'll believe it when I see it. But IF it does snow, I want it to be big! We don't get snow very often, so if/when we do, it should be memorable!

Hey even a broken clock tells the correct time twice a day!!!
They finally got lucky in the heads or tail call.

Right now at 9am we have about 5 inches. I'm from Jersey so i still have my snow shovels ....And my wife laughed at me when I brought my snow blower to Virginia with me!!!

This is NOT snow!
It's light & fluffy & easily picks up. Took me 30 minutes. Yes it's still snowing but at least I have a head start. I'm surprised no one else is shoveling. I guess they will wait until the whole 9 yards fall <lol>

The good thing is in Hampton Roads by Monday it will probably be 60 degrees

Well, the reason you dont see anyone else shoveling is because this is Southern Va, lol, Most people dont own snow shovels! And if they do, they will wait for it to quit snowing before heading out.

I live in a neighorhood that is predominantly military or retired military so there are plenty of people out shoveling snow this afternoon. Us among them. lol We all know to keep our snow shovels and sleds when we move.

I saw on TV that sledding at Mount Trashmore is forbidden. Does anyone know why? That would be a GREAT place. As a kid we used to go to the golf course. They had a great mountainside!!!
