ok cool. So any recommendations whatsoever? Or would you recommend staying wherever there is already a job? Are there any teacher fairs this spring?

Most of the area districts (and statewide as well) are facing budget issues - some more than others obviously. Can't speak for a lot of the ones southside HR that well since I am on the peninsula but I do know that my district is letting a lot of people know their jobs will be/could be affected - including people at admin positions who are being told they are gone completely (such as the city music supervisor) or being sent back to the classroom part time as well as keeping their current position (the city FL supervisor). It depends on where you want to focus searching but I can say pretty much everywhere in the region will feel some sort of crunch budgetwise and there will be impacts.
