Hi I'm moving into an apartment in Red lion pa (just outside of York) and would like to know of any places to pick up organic food and produce. I live in Frederick, MD now and we don't have any big chains for organic, just Moms organic market and Common Market.

I don't know of any regional or national "organic only" chains with presence in the area. However, this area is loaded with farmers' markets, and Giant (regional supermarket) tends to carry a reasonable organics selection, especially in their newer / larger stores.

All the Giants in the area, on Queen Street and Shrewsbury have an organic section. The Saubels Market in Shrewsbury is also quite extensive. Check them out.

Central Market House will have several stands of organic products, as does Eastern Market (only open on Friday). There is a huge organic stand in Eastern Market. There is a natural foods store at Tollgate Village (Queen Street) and another one up near Eastern Market on Industrial Highway. As previous poster's have mentioned, there are large organic sections in most of the Giant's, and a few of the Weis stores carry organic foods as well. Travel to Wegmans' in either Hunt Valley or Mechanicsburg (from Red Lion they are probably equal distance) and you can get an even better selection.
