I am looking to move out of the surburbs of Harrisburg and was looking at the towns of Elizabethtown and Gettysburg to move to. I am interested in crime rate and affordable apartments. Thank you for any help possible.

Check out New Cumberland, or even Camp Hill, just south of Harrisburg. Easy commute, affordable housing and very safe communities. Elizabethtown would be fine but it's a little further out. Gettysburg is not close and commutable (in my opinion). Traffic is fierce, and worse during the summer months/tourist season. Route 15 seems to be in constant repair.

Thank you. I will look in those two places, I liked New Cumberland from what I saw.

Once again thank you.
