Harrisburg (PA) area primary care MD needed
Am in search of a primary care or family physician for myself and husband. If you can highly recommend yours with no reservations, please reply with that doctor's name and contact info. MD preferred; also one who participates in Medicare (i.e., accepts Medicare assignment). We also have great Blue Cross insurance for me and as back-up for my husband's Medicare. We're looking for someone willing to see us as partners in the cause of maintaining/improving our health. Someone who listens well, doesn't rush us, takes a complete history, doesn't make us wait forever for an appointment, isn't patronizing, doesn't hesitate to refer to specialists when appropriate, is not too old nor too young -- someone who knows her stuff. Had a great doc in the SF Bay area; now we are trying to find one just like her in the Harrisburg area. Ideal location would be Midtown Hbg. Help? Thanks in advance. Needs to be open to new patients, of course.
