This was in the November 2009 issue of US Airways Magazine which is in every US Airways flight. Certainly a big plus for the area. I don't know how many people read this, but any good press is great.

I visited Harrisburg about a year ago to see a concert & visit Appalacian Brewing Company (ABC) and I was surprised about how much I like the place. I would definitely go back.

I've always thought they should angle for a spotlight in Amtrak's arrive, after all, it's a short train ride for a lot of people, hopefully shorter in the near future

I agree, I'm surprised I have never seen a mention of Harrisburg in Arrive. The HBG station is one of the busiest in the country, after all.

if it were my show, they'd spotlight one place on the "Keystone route" every month, one "empire," and one Virginia (maybe a downeaster one). I might even expand it to have one on the cascades in the NW, Central California, and southern California, and their midwestern services so people are both aware of places that Amtrak serves and that Amtrak serves them. amtrk doesn't think like that so it would probably take Harrisburg to actively pursue it.
