I kind of liked it. It'll be interesting to see how future episodes evolve. What did you guys think of new Hawaii Five O?

It was alright. I only watched it for the scenery.

I thought it was pretty good but thought that I would see more of Hawaii's beauty. It is one of those shows if I am up at 10 PM I will watch it but would't stay up just to watch it...does that make sense? I did love Dano's character.

I don't watch much TV at all but I did see parts of it. It seemed kinda "twitchy" to me, lots of flip-flip-flip of the scenes and such, although that's pretty much the way TV seems to be going these days. I didn't key into any of the music other than the opening theme. Guess the music is for the under thirty crowd, although I'd guess it's the under twenty five crowd.

There didn't seem to be much iconic Hawaii scenery shown, although Oahu has gotten a lot more crowded lately, there may be a lot less sweeping iconic views left to show. There was a LOT more violence than the original show and the son of McGarret seems a lot more feral than the original McGarret. They did work the "book 'em Dano" into it, though. That was a nice touch.

Just what I thought. Too many one to two second scene shots in which it is tough to even focus in on. Makes you think the director and editing staff all have attention deficit disorder.

That would be to make up for the complete lack of animation on the part of the main character. Bless his heart, that boy must have one fine agent.
