Default Moving to Oahu

Aloha everyone.....I'm a single, laid back guy seriously thinking of ditching So. Cal after 20+ years to move to Oahu, which was a suggestion from a friend that already lives in Oahu.

I've worked in architecture field for about 15+ years so I just wanted to get some opinions/views on how the architecture market is there and how easy/difficult it is to find employment in architecture in Oahu.

I've vacationed in Maui numerous of times but never in Oahu, so I'll be visiting Oahu in a couple of months to get a feel of what possibly could be my future home.

Aloha
