I'm not sure of the purpose of the OP, there is not a question.

But sure, you can live in Hawaii on the cheap, if you are willing to be homeless, eat at soup kitchens, collect empty bottles/cans for spare change, have minimal medical/dental care, etc.

THANKFULLY there are services in place to help many of the mentally ill homeless people, and services to help the economy-caused homeless to re-enter "regular" housing, and programs to cover basic medical needs of the uninsured, etc. That is the intent of our tax dollars for social services.

But those are different situations from lazy misfits just want to live cheaply off the taxpayers dollars, and think Hawaii sounds pretty and warm so head here: they are not welcomed.
