Wink, I hope you make it back to Maui. Just follow McFrostyJ's advice and be prepared.

Don't forget the thread Help Wink stay in Hawaii ideas that has a bunch of ideas for making extra money in Hawaii.

Got laid off from my job in Houston, a couple weeks later got a job on Maui. It only took 4 days from when I sent in my resume. Goodbye Texas!

It's in Central Kihei close to Times Supermarket so I'm planning to live in walking distance. I may try living without a car to save money

Wow, how the world turns! Way to go! And knowing that you moved back to Texas to help your mom out, I hope that means that things are better now for her.

Because all kidding aside... and we have kidded you a lot... most of us here are real and kind and caring, and we like to see people do well with their lives, no matter what choices they make.

So now that you're headed back, please let us all know whatever you might need in the way of assistance on Maui, so that JungJohann can provide it!

Shoots, let me know if you need a lift from the airport. We'll take the Lotus!!!! (sorry, sold it, the 4WD sucked), and, WE CAN STOP AT COSTCO!!!!

Forget costya, but the ride offer is legit
