Na no need to be embarrassed, we all had to learn, hawai'i is not the mainland in customs, etc.

I can't tell you how many times my auntie had to slap me upside the my head to teach me maner and etc.
LOL. I looked, I must have given the crack seed to my mom before I left. I think it was old. Heck, I think the arare is old. But whatevahs. Man slave duties, huh? I do need to do some major unpacking and moving of boxes. Maybe your girl won't mind if I make the poke (got everything but the fish). She can snack while you work.

I was more embarrassed cuz my mom raised us better than that. But in our defense, the mainland adults hadn't moved either.

Aloha

Today i was shopping at the grocery store when a couple from Hawai'i asked a clerk if they carried Saimin noodles, the clerk said no,lucky i was there to show them where the chinese noodles where.

So you know your from Hawai'i living on the mainland when people don't know Saimin noodles is Ramen or Chinese Noodles. There is a difference in how its made and whats in it.

You know your from Hawai'i living on the mainland when people from the mainland are always asking you to speak up, you talk to softly lol...

My experience and observations is most kamaaina are more quiet in there tone of speech then mainlanders.
