That's funny - we got our first snow here in upstate NY last night/this morning. OK, it didn't 'blanket' anything, it was just flurries, but the coincidence is interesting.
We are really starting to rack up the reasons for moving to Hawaii - first there were the shoes (my hubby started kvetching (complaining) when he had to put on closed shoes for the first time about a week ago - he jokes about grilling outside until he has to knock the ice off his sandals, he loves those sandals), now sweaters and coats... then there was that pesky daylight savings time thing the other day (I mean, WHAT is the point? So now it starts to get dark at 4 p.m.! Who thought this up anyway?).
