Bamboo houses (Hilo: construction, living, office)

Hey, I found this site: Bamboo Living Homes - Bamboo Technologies of Maui (OK, my sister found it actually). They make these bamboo houses in Vietnam and ship them to Hawaii, then reconstruct them there. Anyone know anything about these? I understand there are a few on the islands (at least one on Kauai). They look pretty nice.

Cymolke, the best realtor I've ever known, arranged a tour of one of the Bamboo Living Homes that is located a few minutes north of Hilo. Contact her, she's in touch with the owner and will probably be able to do the same for you.

I do have the contact information for the owner of the Bamboo house in Hilo--she conducts tours of her home, which was still a work in progress when we visited, and is very open with sharing details and photos of the construction process.
