You'll be fine. Especially around the Waikiki area. We are a huge university town with plenty of non-motorized young ladies. Learn to surf, and paddle board. Take some hiking tours. You'll have a great time.

You can go anywhere on The Bus!! The North Shore was beautiful yesterday and we saw people at bus stops there.

I'm glad you get to spend some time on one island, that is my favorite thing to do, instead of hopping around. You will be safe, but be careful. I like to rent a car but you will have to pay for parking overnight probably.

Take some Roberts Tours:

Do the circle island tour first, then you can find places that interest you for other tours
Oahu Grand Circle Island Tour | Roberts Hawaii

Go kayaking
Oahu Guided Kayak Tours | Roberts Hawaii

Go to Hanuama Bay snorkeling
Hanauma Bay Snorkeling Tours, Oahu | Roberts Hawaii

Go to a luau one evening
Germaine's Luau - Oahu | Roberts Hawaii

See Kailua beach, where President Obama vactions, and see the sea turtles
Twogood Kayaks Hawaii - Turtle Safari Tour | Roberts Hawaii

See Pearl Harbor but don't go with a tour, make sure you go to the Park Board and get to walk on the Memorial over the ship.
Pacific Historic Parks

Go shopping at Ala Moana shopping center. It's near enough to Waikiki to walk or catch a bus. Look for a "plate lunch" special for a meal of local food.
Ala Moana Center: Hawaii's Premier Shopping, Entertainment, and Dining Destination

You can even do an overnighter to another island while you keep your hotel, I have done that.
Hawaii Island Hopping Packages, Hawaii Day Tours from Oahu | Roberts Hawaii

Your hotel will have many brochures to help you find more things to do. Don't take a tour from people on the sidewalk handing out gifts and tours, they are probably selling time share condominiums and that could waste an entire morning listening to their sales pitch.

But most of all, enjoy the beaches, they are lovely. Don't burn, the first few days can be tricky so stay covered up most of the day and shop, swim after 3 pm to avoid burning. If you do too much sunning the first few days you burn and ruin your vacation.

Be careful and have fun, wish I could join you!

was the person you were originally planning to travel with the one who was supposed to do the planning? I mean, you have two weeks now to plan an entire trip.

I always thought it was the Europeans who feared not in traveling points near and far, alone or en groupe.

Here is a fun place on the north shore for backpackers and travelers. I've stayed here a few times to escape honolulu when i wanted to get away. They'll pick you up in town or at the airport too,, or you could take the 52 bus.

Oahu è una bel'isola in cui si puoi fare molte cose! e Honolulu? qui sarai al sicuro! Vedo sempre qui molte gente
dalla Comunità Europea. Divertiti!

Thanks for your answer.

At the beginner, I planned this trip with my hubby.
Now, we are dividing/separating.. I don't know what's the correct word.
I'm very sad and... I think to delete everything about my trip.
It's a pity because I already booked flights (domestic and no); hotels...

I don't know what can I do.

If you are potentially divorcing, you may want to consider delaying your trip as it is very expensive to take a trip to Hawaii - and you may need to save money right now. Although you have to pay a change fee - you'll have a year to reuse your tickets.
