Waikiki Nei coming to the old Aloha Showroom
http://kgmb9.com/main/content/view/1792/127/ (Story and Video)
"Drawing on all the excitement of the biggest shows in Las Vegas, the men who worked together to create Cirque Du Soleil shows like "O" and "Ka" are creating an incredible production to tell the history of Waikiki."
 This sounds exciting!

sounds very interesting. is an environmental impact statement required? just joking! bet manu boyd is involved with the cultural aspect of the production. he left OHA to be the cultural specialist at royal hawaiian shopping center.

They are raising the roof to 50 ft, according to the news report. Bet that took some paperwork!
So, Kani...want to go dancing with me at the Ultralounge after-party when they are up and running?? Maybe Jung and the rest of the C-D forum can join us?

geez--no more late nights for me. actually, haven't been to waikiki in years! supposedly, they have "beautified" it and added a lot of upscale restaurants. we care for our mom that has alzheimer's and we're thinking that because she is "end stage", we will keep her home until she passes. we're working on it with hospice and other agencies. but, this won't take place until probably the beginning of next year.
good days and bad days!
