Does anybody have any experience with either one of these online/hybrid schools? Could you recommend one over the other?
Thanks

One of our kids went from 10-12 grade to Myron B Thompson. Online of course, as we are not on Oahu. She excelled and loved it. The school was better suited for her than Konawaena or Kealakehe as she was distracted and scared by violence, older grades sexual predation, and drug tolerance by staff and peers.

She was able to do her homework at her own pace ( she turned into a self starter), and shortened her school week to 3-4 days. With Fridays at her leisure she volunteered at a doctors office and other venues. Her self respect and personality were growing by the month. Plus it made a great point on her college application. The MBT teachers were all good if not better than the high school teachers.

Most tests were done at the local high schools under supervision. Also any extra curricular activity is permitted at the local high schools by state law ( i.e. sports, clubs, etc). If so desired by the student.

We were a bit concerned as the MBT principal was involved in some illegal funneling money to her family at the time, but it had no influence on the curriculum or our daughters education. Online studies overall is better suited for high schoolers than elementary or middle school, IMHO.
