I've been thinking it would be nice to live in Hawaii. Paradise!! I'm a white boy from the mainland. Will the Hawaiians get mad?

YES!!! The Hawaiians will definitely be mad, FURIOUS in fact that you dared come here. Better not move here unless you want to upset the Hawaiians. Even other white people living in Hawaii will be furious that you moved here contributing to the overpopulation problem.

Please don't move to Hawaii. If it gets any more crowded it may tip over.

What kind of question is that? "Will the Hawaiians get mad?" DUH, of course they will get mad, and mad is the nice term for it. To say the least, I think it would be best for you to ask for this thread to be deleted, delete your account, live under an alias, and go off the grid, if you know what's good for you. All is takes is a thought of moving to Hawaii to set them off. I too was one who considered moving to Hawa...oops, I've said too much.

Well, your member name is caliguy so I assume you (as am I) are from California.
I will paint with a broad brush here.
If you're from anywhere North of Sacramento, you'll be fine.
If you're from anywhere South of Sacramento, the Hawaiians (as well as everyone else worldwide) won't like you.

Does not apply if you are instead, from Calgary...

Nah, they've given up being mad. Anyway those folks from the mainland show up with a huge container of good stuff, stick around for maybe a year, decide everything is too expensive - especially since they can't find a job/house/friends/town/etc., like they had on the mainland and then they sell everything cheap since they can't afford to ship it back to the mainland and leave. Then new ones show up and do it all over again. We have a net gain of good stuff.

I think it may be too late for the OP. The Hawaiians already tracked down his IP address. We can only hope he posted from a coffee shop or other public place. How did this thread manage to stay up for so many hours?

On the flip side, I do like good cheap stuff.

If that is your perceptions and attitude of locals; then, yeah, you'll have some conflict.

I generally find that race-baiters, if they throw their line out consistently enough, will catch something.

No. They won't get mad, they need you there. Where do you think all that Spam comes from?
