Default What Are The Safest Places To Live In Hawaii?

Hi Friends,

I'm a 28-year-old white dude looking for a safe place to live in Hawaii. Do you have any recommendations for a guy my age? (I do not want to experience racism.... or be robbed).

Hmmm.... preferable someplace where it isn't so isolated.

I would look up a town where the caucasian population outweighs the asian/pacific islander if I were you. hate to say it but racism will always exist somewhere, you just gotta roll with the punches

If you're already concerned about it enough to find a 'non racist stronghold' you probably shouldn't even bother moving.

There is a LOT of diversity in Hawaii so you've gotta accept it and roll with it. Most of the towns on Oahu are primarily composed of Asian or Pacific Islander people - the only places that aren't are full of tourists. Oahu is notorious for car break-ins and thefts. Mine has been safe, but I've heard a lot of stories!

We've lived in Kailua, Oahu six months out of the year for eighteen years now. It's about the most Haole town I know of on Oahu.

Our house has been burgled three times in that period. Two out of three were probably by a Haole who lived in the neighborhood. He was notorious, even caught red-handed once in a neighbor's house, but never locked up.

I got an alarm system.

He moved.

It stopped.

Hank

If you want to live in a place without some sort of crime at all, earth is not the right planet to live in. Sure theres some places with less crime and less racism, but it will always be there. ALWAYS >=]
