Hi! My husband and I are planning to move to Hawaii after we graduate with teaching degrees. We are both secondary educators. We will be pulling in approximately 80,000 dollars/year. Is this doable?

So you both ALREADY have jobs waiting on you here and know your annual income?
Then you'd be ahead of most of the dreamy-eyed people who come skipping off the plane to start their new lives "in paradise".
Sadly, more often than you could imagine, they sell everything and limp back aboard that plane within a few years.

What island/area are you looking at?
$80k for two people on the Big Island will go much further than $80k on Oahu.

Which island? That's the make or break question, IMHO. Although you could probably manage on Oahu with that amount, but it'd be a lot easier on one of the other islands.

You should be able to find teaching jobs as there is a chronic shortage. It takes a long time to get credentialed here so start the process as soon as you can.
BTW: I believe you will start at more than $40k each if you are credentialed? Good luck!
