Hi me0123,

Are you working with an agent who is familiar with the East Hawaii subdivisions? How well do you know the island yourself?

The answer to your question has many variables. Age of home, condition, comps in the area, road conditions accessing the property, flood zone, permits etc, etc.

Without more information, any answer to that question would be a real shot in the dark!

An agent can run comps for the area and give you a lot of information on the specific property you are looking at and then help you through the offer and escrow process...please consider contacting a Realtor who knows the island and can represent you.

With aloha,

Cynthia
