Default Can I watch the NHL Playoffs in Honolulu?

I am looking for a good bar to watch the NHL Playoffs this year in Honolulu, more specifically, the Pittsburgh Penguins. I found a couple places that look promising, but I was hoping I could get some feedback on which bar may provide the best atmosphere for watching some good Penguins hockey -- or just hockey in general if finding Penguins fans is out of the question. Any comments?

1.) Fox and Hounds Pub 1778 Ala Moana Blvd #LL13 Waikiki, HI 96815
2.) J's Sports Bar/Grill 1775 S. King St Honolulu, HI 96826
3.) R&B's Sports Bar (aka Sand Island Sports Bar) 197 Sand Island Access Road Honolulu, HI
4.) Slammer's Sports Bar/ Grill Waikiki 1683 Kalakaua Ave Honolulu, HI 96826
5.) The Shack 377 Keahole St Honolulu , HI 96825

Default Did you find a good Penguins or hockey bar?

My brother will be in Hawaii on a belated honeymoon during what we hope will be the Penguins in the Stanley Cup finals. We're trying to find him a nice place to catch the games. I see that your post is from March. Did you end up going to any of these places?

I did actually find a good bar to watch the Penguins games! I wouldn't call it a "Penguins bar," but it was the only (and I mean only) place we could find that we could watch sports at in Honolulu. It is in Waikiki at the Round Table Pizza. Here's the info:

Round Table Pizza
Ohana East Hotel
150 Kaiulani Blvd.
Honolulu, HI 96815
(808) 944-1199

They have several very large televisions with sports on them all the time, and you'll want to get there early so you can request that they put the audio to the Pengiuns game on. They seem to have a first-come first-serve basis on what channel they put on their televisions. Believe it or not, when I was there, there were several other Penguins fans watching the game. Have fun and GO PENS!!!
