Default Aloha to Aloha Airlines

What a sad day for our state to know that in just 24 hours our Aloha Airlines will cease passenger operations.

As a former Ali'i Member my sincere thanks and appreciation go out to all of you for taking such good care of my family and I during the five years we lived on Kauai and I commuted to Honolulu to work. All of my friends used to be amazed that I made the daily trip. But Aloha Airlines made it a wonderful experience. While people commuted hours in snow on the mainland all I had to do was get on that little 737 and go to work. Life was good.

God Bless you all. I am praying for a miracle.

Aloha,

I'm sad too. Aloha was the only nonstop airline from Orange County to the Hawaiian Islands and their smiling faces and friendly Aloha spirit made the vacation feel like it started before the plane even took off. It is a shame they will close down, as I will hate driving all the way to Los Angeles to fly a sterile legacy carrier.
Good luck to the Aloha employees and families. You will be missed in the skies, but your service will last a lifetime.
