I'm researching the cost to move to Hilo and I'm wondering for those of you who have moved to Hawaii in the last couple of years, what has been your experience with moving companies? Can I get some good recommendations?
Any tips on the process would be helpful. Thanks. |

We used royal hawaiian movers. They were very organized, friendly and quick, nothing was damaged. here is their link. Moving to Hawaii - Moving to The Mainland - Royal Hawaiian Movers

we moved here in feb from california and used Chipman from CA to here. Royal Hawaiian movers unloaded on this side. both were very good. we shipped about a little under 9000 pounds i think and it was around $9000. we had a 3 bedroom 1500 sq ft house in CA but didn't bring everything here, probably about 75%. remember, most of the houses here are smaller than they are on the mainland...
