Thumbs up Where Do I Want to Live?

Coming out to UH, Manoa trying to figure out where to live. I heard the dorms were pretty rundown and I'm coming out with a few friends so i'd like to find a house in a safe area preferably close to some surf. any suggestions would be much appreciated. our budget is around 3500/m

If you folks are looking to rent a house, $3,500 can get you a 3 to 4 bedroom house in these neighborhoods:

Kapahulu, Kaimuki, Moili'ili and Manoa

All are safe neighborhoods, close to UH, with Kapahulu being closest to the beach and surf.

If you want condos look at neighborhoods such as:

Waikiki, Ala Moana, and Kapiolani.
