Nexosu is on a distinguished road
Default In a bind

About four months ago I was offered a position at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. The paperwork and backround checks went very slowly up until recently when they asked me if I could start in a month.

Up until this point I was under the impression that relocation was provided but I found out it was not. Right now I'm trying to figure out a move in such a short time is possible. If I am working in the Naval Shipyard, can someone let me know where an affordable place to move would be? I would probably prefer it be within biking distance of the shipyard until I can afford to ship my car. I'll probably go the roomate route until I start getting paid again.

I am a recent grad with a full time job, but would like to switch industries before I get stuck in my current one, and with the economy now days, I don't want to pass it up. Please help if you can.

Put a listing on Craig's List with your requirements. Oahu does have a very good bus system so even if you were further than biking distance you could still get to work fairly easily. Aiea would be fairly close as well as Salt Lake. They are also on flatter ground than Pearl City which if you are using a bicycle might be of importance to you.
