I don't know what a palmetto bug looks like. They're about the size of a small dump, and half of them have wings.
I'm pretty sure they're actually aliens, with a longterm plan to take over the planet.

It can't be said often enough, 10 best things about Hawaii.........SPAM!!!!! Thats right, plain old Spam, we'll have to go over this very briefly, for you who are not akamai, Spam and eggs, Spam on toast, Spam with poi, deep fried Spam, Spam coated with shredded coconut and fried, Spam cooked in the oven, Spam, wrapped in ti leaves, and cooked in the imu, Spam and rice, Spam with Condaleeza Rice, (if she's in town), Spam with cabbage, Spam sliced and served with fresh pineapple, sweet and sour Spam, Spam coated with peanut butter and mayonaise, cooked on a skewer over an open flame, (Tiki torch comes in really handy on that one), BBQ'd Spam with shoyu, Spam and beans, Spam and banana fritters, Spam and baked potatoes, Spam stew with broccoli and mushrooms, (you might want to be careful about that mushroom part, if they're from upcountry?????? oh well), Spam with canned sardines, Spam stuffed with Velveta cheese and baked, breaded Spam cooked in the microwave, (you really want to get the Spam out of the can for that one, otherwise????), frozen Spamscicles coated with chocolate, Spam balls fried with opihi, for you purists out there, Spam right out of the can, you can even lick the key!!!!!!!!!!Spam with hashbrowns, Spam and corn, Spam and fresh peas...............I gotta tell ya, the list just goes on and on and on..............and then...............stops........go figur. Here is what they look like and they fly! I have seen them as big as 2 inches long. I knew of a local friend that got one in his ear and had to go to the doctor to have it surgically removed.
