Hi, my husband, my two small children and I are planning on moving to Maui in April or May. He is American, I am Canadian and we are currently living in canada. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any Visa that I can apply for which would allow me to wait for acceptance in Maui with him. So far, they say that as soon as I apply for a Visa, the I-130, I am not allowed to leave Canada until it goes through which could take 6-12 months. Is there such a thing as a visa which I can apply for from Hawaii, while waiting acceptance in Hawaii. Even if I only had to return to canada for a short time, that would be okay, but 6-12 months is unbearable! Has anybody out there done this before? |
