Default Cost to move stuff from Hawaii to East Coast?

HI,
Anyone know the approximate cost to move 1 bedroom and 1 kitchen of "stuff" from HI to VA? Have called a few movers but they won't give any estimates over the phone. Any ideas about how much?
Thanks!!!

I would think at least 5 thousand. if it is only kitchen stuff and bedroom sell it. pots and pans are just that pots and pans. a night stand and a bed set unless it is something very special you could buy new for what it would cost to ship

Try upack.com, They will give you an estimate via email(it will take a day at the most). I got an estimate of $3135 for moving to Hawaii from Ohio for a container that can fit contents of a 1 bedroom apartment. Hope this helps!

Ship everything you can via the post office. $40 for a big heavy box. Sell the rest.

Thanks for the info! Never thought about the post office, good idea. I am actually asking for my parents. They have some things that have been passed down in the family, so they won't sell those things. Otherwise, they probably will end up selling most of the other stuff.
thanks!
