Hi Pacific Flights,
Thanks for the post. This is pretty much what I have been told. Although I do know a girl who was able to get it for less.

So do you work for Pacific Air Cargo? You know so much about this.

Hi JollyDogs,
As far as Dog Travel goes, guess you have to request a flight and they announce it before you know about the cost of seats? I might be able to wait until Oct. but not sure about any later than that.
Husbands job starts in Aug. we think , but I will not go until later on.
You mentioned a hotel. Do you know any pet friendly hotels in Honolulu?

I think the Aqua hotels allow pets -- there are a few of them spread around Honolulu. There was another recent post about pet-friendly hotels and you may be able to find it via the Search function at the top of the page.

Hi. Is the pet flight still going to be happening for fall of 2009? I am interested!! Is the price that you talked about $2500 each for you and your pet? Please let me know if this is still going to be happening and what dates you are thinking about. My schedule is very flexible so I can do it at any time!!

You might have more success on this thread:http://www.city-data.com/forum/hawai...er-2009-a.html

The latest post says "If we have a total of 16 passengers (people and pets) to fly from the LA area to Honolulu this fall it is looking like it will be approximately $2600 per passenger." http://www.city-data.com/forum/9701957-post87.html

Best of luck.

HI!
Yes - please read the posts on the links above for the Flight to Hawaii with dogs in cabin. I don't check this one as much as I check that one. It is looking more and more like the flight will be in November. Date is still to be determined. We have absolutely no choice, we HAVE to move to Hawaii and my dog is way to old to fly him in cargo. So God willing, there WILL be a charter this fall! Please send me a private message if you are interested. Thanks!

Our son is in the Military and just got back from Iraq. He is stationed in Hawaii. We have had his small dog and would like to get it to him ASAP. We too are trying to find a way not to fly her in Cargo as she is only 7 pounds.

Default Aloha Sugar...

If you are flying Sugar (yeah?) from the West Coast to Honolulu it will be a breeze for her. It's only a few hours flight and the airlines take great care of the animals. Check out Hawaiian Airlines. You do have to have her paperwork, vaccinations, etc all in order. Visit the Hawaii AG website for all that stuff. Her Dad can retrieve her from the Quarantine Station at the airport. Don't worry about her. She will be just fine. Don't ya kinda wish you could be there for their reunion? We flew two small dudes over this past year, both under 8 lbs.
